Thommankuthu Waterfalls, Thodupuzha

Thommankuthu waterfall is a small and beautiful waterfall that is situated near Thodupuzha in Idukki district of Kerala. This waterfall is named after a tribal leader named Thomman who was washed away in this waterfall while crossing the river. This waterfall has seven steps and cascades down from a height of 1500 m. The difference between the first and the last fall is 500 m. An important feature of this waterfall is that at each step of the fall a pool is formed.

Thommankuthu, a beautiful ecotourism destination, has a series of waterfalls. In addition, there are several caves and viewpoints.
