Power house waterfall that falls from a height of 2000 m is a very magnificent waterfall. It is situated on the way to Thekkady near Munnar. This waterfall originates from Devikulam River which according to legend says that Goddess Sita had taken bath from here. This water is believed to have medicinal properties. It is a very attractive waterfall on the way to Munnar and many tourists are attracted to this place. The waterfall is surrounded by the western mountain ranges and the tourists take a break on their journey to the nearby Periyar wildlife sanctuary.
