Possadigumpe is a hill station is ideal for one day picnic. Located 320 metres above sea level, Possadigumpe is cool and scenic.

Bayar, the village around Posadigumpe hill, has around 2000 Suranga, a device to harvest rainwater. Suranga is a man-made horizontal cave, through which water flowing down the hills is redirected to nearby wells. It is a traditional system harvesting system unique to Kasaragod and Karnataka’s Dakshina Kannada district.  Possadigumpe is around 45 km away from Kasargod town.
