Ada Pradhaman Ada pradhaman (prepared with jaggery, rice ada and coconut milk) is especially popular during the festival of Onam. It is an integral part of Onam Sadhya Menu. Ingredients Ada – 50 g Jaggery – 150 g Coconut milk – 250 ml Sultanas – 25 g Cashew nuts – 25 g Ghee – 50 ml Cardamom powder – 05 g Coconut – 10 g Method of preparation Boil the ada and drain the water thoroughly. Make syrup with jaggery, water and strain through a muslin cloth. Add the ada to the syrup and cook it well. Add the coconut milk, cardamom powder and just heat but do not boil. Finish with fried sultanas, cashew nuts and coconut.
