Akkitham Achuthan Namboothiri

Akkitham Achuthan Namboothiri was born in 18 March 1926 at Kumaranallur in Palakkad District of Kerala. He is a well known Malayalam poet, essay writer and editor among contemporary Malayalam writers.His noted works include Irupatham Noottandinte Ithihasam, Balidarsanam,Arangettam, Nimisha Kshetram, Idinju Polinja Lokam, Amritaghatika, Akkithattinte Thiranjedutha Kavitakal and Kalikkottilil.Apart from his poetic pursuits, Akkitham also has worked in bringing social reforms in Kerala.
