Devikulam

Devikulam, an idyllic hill station, situated about 8 kms from Munnar. The town of Devikulam mainly serves as a minor hill station in the region and famous for Sita Devi Lake and Palivasal Waterfall. Families travel to the town from all nearby regions to picnic here, as the locations are very calm, serene and peaceful.

There are many tourist centers near the region of Devikulam and these are in Thekkady, Kumily, Thodapuzha and Adiamalai. Adventure buffs will love visiting this place and the whole region is surrounded by lush green hills. Breathtaking view of the best of nature from height of 1800 meters above sea level is fascinating one.

Summer season (March to May) is the best time to visit and the climate is excellent during this time. The State government Guest Houses and cottages ensures comfortable stay in the midst of the misty slopes of the Western Ghats.
