Asif Ali to lead Kerala Strikers in CCL

AMMA’s Kerala Strikers has joined the Celebrity Cricket League. The Strikers, a team of Malayalam starlets has been promoted by Super star Mohanlal, former actress Lissy and the business tycoon from Chennai P.M.Shaji in association with AMMA (Association of Malayalam Movie Artists). The team is captained by the Actor Asif Ali .

Mohanlal will lead the team from the front ,and his deputy will be Asif Ali. The practice of the team commenced two days back and the team will play their first game at Hyderabad against Bengal Tigers. Kochi, which is the home ground of the team is not in the fixture this season. Superstar Mohanlal will continue to be the mentor and non playing captain of the team and Asif Ali will head the team. The Selection was purely on merit Basis.
