Charlie is a Malayalam film directed, co-written and co-produced by Martin Prakkat. It stars Dulquer Salmaan, Parvathy and Aparna Gopinath. The music is composed by Gopi Sundar, while Jomon T. John handles the cinematography. It was released on 24 December 2015.
The movie is straight forward and a fast-paced one. Tessa (Parvathy) a graphic artiste by profession who is bold, beautiful, smart, fearless and inquisitive by character, drives us to Charlie while trying to escape from her boring job and marriage trap set by her family. Tessa decides to move to a new locale and rents a house, which was earlier used by Charlie and finds a few things belonging to him that sets her off on his trail. What happens and how Tessa falls in love with Charlie drives the movie further.
Two Countries is a 2015 Malayalam film written by Rafi and directed by Shafi. The film stars Dileep, Mukesh and Mamta Mohandas in the lead roles. The film released along with a number of movies on the Christmas Day.
Ullas (Dileep) is a carefree lazy young man, who makes the living by playing simple pranks at his hometown. He is eagerly waiting for a chance to migrate to a foreign country. He marries a Canada-based Malayali girl Laya (Mamta Mohandas), only to live in Canada. The incidents faced by Ullas and Laya forms the rest of the story.
Jo And The Boy, the comical entertainer which stars Manju Warrier and Sanoop Santhosh in the lead roles. The movie is written and directed by Philips And The Monkey Pen fame Rojin Thomas.
“Jo and the Boy” narrates the story of animator Joan Mary John (Jo), played by Manju, and a boy named Criz, played by Sanoop.
Style is a 2015 Malayalam action thriller movie directed by Binu S starring Unni Mukundan, Tovino Thomas, Master Ilhan, and Balu Varghese in the lead roles. Mumbai based model Priyanka Kandwal marks her debut as heroine through the film. The songs are composed by Jassie Gift with the background score was composed by Rahul Raj. Edited by the national award winner Vivek Harshan.
